WATKINS GLEN, NY. Let the bad guy win every once in a while? Never! NASCAR is not for wimpy gals and guys. Watkins Glen International is a destination for many different events, not all involving race cars. I was able to sample each of the venues available for fan and corporate experiences, and all are really special in their own way. The catering team pairs fantastic local food, wines and craft beers for a complete trackside experience for 2 to 200 people. And yes, you can experience the turns and straights for yourself with an official driver. Kenny Hollenbeck took me through some really exciting moves!

NASCAR not your thing? The Glen also hosts a Finger Lakes Wine Festival and a Ticket Galaxy Beer festival. There's amazing hiking, history and museums nearby. You can camp onsite or nearby, or enjoy a charming B&B.
